In the beginning were the words.
A sequel to philosophical puzzle game 'The Talos Principle' is reportedly planned, according to comments made at the Nordic Game conference Friday.
According to a tweet from Reboot magazine managing director Damir Durovic, Croatian developer Croteam confirmed a 'Talos Principle 2' during a presentation at the conference in Malmo, Sweden. Durovic's tweet was then shared by the Croteam account, granting the statement a little more legitimacy.
'The Talos Principle' was first released in late 2014 as a first-person puzzle game. Between solving puzzles, players could also explore text files in scattered computer terminals that dived into topics of philosophy and the definition of consciousness.
Croteam is also known as the developer of the 'Serious Sam' shooter series.
