Smash The Control Machines: 'Dishonored 2's Gamescom Trailer Gets Messy With Emily

Evisceration is fun AND effective!

Not a whole lot of introduction needed here, folks. The fine folks at Arkane decided to drop into Gamescom with a short, but sweet look at some 'Dishonored 2' gameplay, this time, letting the all-growed-up Emily Kaldwin slice-and-dice her way through some enemies.

And we do emphasize the dicing part. I can't even describe exactly what it is Emily's got going on in the game's first half--it's kinda like she gets some of those horrifying mutated arms from 'Akira', uses them to skulk around like a jungle cat gone Cronenberg, before using them to dissect a few hapless security guards. Even gets in a good old fashioned head-lop before the segment's done. Yikes.

The second part is only slightly more sedate, with Emily performing stealth kills on what looks to be skeletons with limbs made out of razor sharp swords. And yet, the decapitating goes on, regardless. Let's just let Emily take it from here.
