Making your stand on a uninhabited planet.
With PlayStation Experience going on all weekend, there has been no shortage of new gameplay videos surfacing for all kinds of upcoming games, but not too many feature the president of Sony Worldwide Studios, Shuhei Yoshida, who met with Sean Murray from Hello Games to test out the upcoming PS4 title 'No Man's Sky.'
Murray starts out the gameplay video himself, showing off the game's procedural generation and how it keeps track of everything that has been created once the player moves on. When Yoshida takes the controls, however, he decides to pick a fight with the robotic space cops, and we get to see a little bit of the game's ground combat.
As Yoshida starts shooting down drones, Murray notes how he starts building his 'Grand Theft Auto'-esque "wanted level." And, as in 'Grand Theft Auto,' Yoshida quickly finds himself surrounded by increasingly powerful enemy units as his wanted level rises until he is ultimately taken down.
You can watch the full gameplay video with Murray and Yoshida below. 'No Man's Sky' is set to launch for the PS4 in the middle of 2016.
