New 'Gears Of War 4' Trailer Passes The Torch To The Next Generation

It must be hard to listen to the sounds of silence with all that gunfire.

A new trailer for 'Gears of War 4' shows glimpses of our new protagonist and his relationship with the protagonist we're leaving behind.

The trailer features the new 'Gears' leading man, JD Fenix, running and gunning away from a small group of monsters. The scene is cut with a flashback of JD as a boy with his father, the iconic 'Gears' hero Marcus Fenix. Throw in a sulky cover of "Sounds of Silence" and you've got yourself this new teaser for the next entry in the 'Gears' franchise.

'Gears of War 4' is set to hit Xbox One on October 11. A multiplayer beta is scheduled to kick off next week for early access players and run until the end of the month.
