The automotive SVOD/OTT service is now available through Google's streaming dongle.
TEN: The Enthusiast Network has announced the expansion of its Motor Trend OnDemand stand-alone automotive streaming service to the Chromecast. The service offers over 2,000 hours of original and live content, real-time racing events, and Formula 1 and IndyCar archives.
"With our Chromecast launch, subscribers now have another way to watch their favorite Motor Trend OnDemand content with friends and family from the comfort of their living rooms," says TEN CEO Scott Dickey. "This launch reflects TEN's 11th platform launch for Motor Trend OnDemand and our continued dedication to providing auto enthusiasts the ability to view premier automotive content anywhere they want."
With Motor Sport OnDemand through Chromecast, users can now stream the platform's content from a phone, tablet, or desktop directly to any TV that has an HDMI port. The service provides access to live streaming, archive material, original content, and a schedule of racing events. Available real-time motorsport racing and enthusiast events include Pirelli World Challenge, Blancpain GT Series, DTM, and Lamborghini Super Trofeo, the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance, and Goodwood Festival of Speed. Likewise, Motor Trend OnDemand provides exclusive first-look access, bonus episodes, and behind-the-scenes footage from its popular lineup of original programming like 'Roadkill,' 'Head 2 Head,' 'Dirt Every Day,' 'Ignition,' 'Hot Rod Garage,' and more.
In addition to Chromecast, Motor Trend OnDemand is also available through Xbox One, Xbox 360, iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, Roku, and Android devices, as well as the web. Likewise, the service is available as an add-on subscription for Amazon Prime subscribers. New members can sign up for a free 30-day trial now.
