The company's latest monitor is now available.
LG has announced a new addition to its UltraFine lineup, the 27-inch UltraFine 5K Display. The monitor is now available for a suggested retail price of $1,299.99.
Designed for use with Apple's latest Mac notebooks, Mac desktops, and iPad Pro tablets, the new UltraFine 5K display features a 27-inch IPS panel with a resolution of 5120 x 2880 and 218 pixels per inch (PPI), resulting in more than 14.7 million pixels. In addition, the monitor offers support for the P3 wide color gamut and 500 nits of brightness. Connectivity options include Thunderbolt 3 and USB Type-C, enabling video, audio, and data transfer through a single cable. And for added multimedia functionality, the monitor also includes a built-in camera, microphone, and stereo speakers.
Meanwhile, when paired with macOS Mojave 10.14.6 or iOS 12.4, users can also control the monitor's brightness and volume directly through a MacBook Pro's Touch Bar or keyboard. Likewise, when connected to a Mac, the display’s ambient light sensor can automatically adjust screen brightness. Finally, adjustable height and tilt functionality is integrated as well.
