Players can now explore the Avenger.
When 'XCOM 2' came out on PC earlier this year (view our review here), a lot was made about the strategy game lacking traditional controller support (although it did support the Steam Controller). Controller support became a likely addition after 'XCOM 2' released on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, and now it's a reality. Developer Firaxis Games announced via the game's official website today that the PC version now supports gaming controllers.
That wasn't the only announcement, though, as they also revealed that players can now enable "full camera control." This will allow PC players to check out the game from a new perspective, and as seen in the new trailer below, can even explore the Avenger. Actually enabling the new camera is pretty complicated (you'll have to access the developer console), but thankfully full instructions are given over on the website.
Check out what you can do with the new camera in the trailer below:
It's great to see that Firaxis is continuing to add awesome new features to 'XCOM 2.' Traditional controller support was a no brainer after the game was ported to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
