Backlash coming in 3...2..1…
'Velocity 2X' is due out today for the PS4 and Vita and is free for PS Plus members. So far so good. As it turns out, FuturLab has something in store for those looking for a more severe challenge. Today, the developer announced the 'Critical Urgency' DLC pack:
"So you’ve perfected the art of teleporting at high speed? Then you’re ready for the Critical Urgency Pack! Six obsessively fine-tuned speed run levels that will push your teleporting skills beyond the limits of your imagination and into the realm of gaming magic. Master these levels to dazzle your friends and scare your family with freakish talent."
The DLC looks as promised, very challenging. Of course, DLC can be a tricky buzzword for the community at large. The game may now have more outraged critics than would have been possible otherwise.
Want to mention that the DLC came about after we submitted #Velocity2X to Sony. I absolutely promise nothing was held back to put in the DLC

I know Day 1 DLC can be divisive, but we had some time between submission and release and thought - hey lets make some more levels!

Critical Urgency is priced at $2.99.
