The reengineered but still authentic six game 'Mega Man Legacy Collection' is out today. (Check out the review here.) With the release fans old and new will have a chance to master the robot masters and Dr. Wiley, but admittedly not all players know the series or are well-suited for a deep dive.

Fortunately, a new look at 'Mega Man,' specifically, the six games in the Collection, has been released today. It might start off a little slow, but it will heat up. It should give the uninitiated some idea of what these classics are all about and why the fan base is so dedicated.

The 'Mega Man Legacy Collection' is priced at $14.99. In addition to the six games, the collection includes a wealth of bonuses. There is a Database, a Museum, and a Music Player. There are also challenges for the veterans, and a quick boss mode for the those who need practice. It's out today digitally for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC
