Watch Out for Underwater Zombies Early Next Year in 'Dying Light: The Following'

Take the plunge next year.

More and more it seems that with Techland & Warner Bros.' 2015 winner, 'Dying Light' (review here), the game made the most of its urban setting, but that in turn has left the team wanting to take to the country. In today's footage, which announces that the game is set for a release date in Q1 2016, it's evident that there is more to the expansion than the upgradable dune buggy.

I'm getting echoes of 'Far Cry 3/4,' but with fun zombie combat instead of animal skinning and crafting.

'Dying Light: The Following' will be free for current Season Pass owners, and will also be available to purchase as DLC for non-Season Pass 'Dying Light' owners at a price of $14.99.

The expansion is expected for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC in Q1 of 2016.
