Blue Point on point.
'Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection' is coming to the PS4, and unlike some other remasters/re-releases, the pricing for the three included games is not out of this world. With Blue Point Games (of the 'Metal Gear Solid: HD Collection' and 'Ico & Shadow of Colossus' fame), it's reasonable to expect a good and authentic job. Equally important. there is going to be a playable demo on PSN later this summer (an well before the October 9th release date).
The collection will run in 1080p, and the framerate will float around 60fps. Visually, character models, lighting, particle effects, and environment textures are all being given some TLC to fit the new resolution. In terms of gameplay, veteran players can expect some tweaks tweaks and light fixes. In the case of the 'Drake's Fortune,' the changes are likely to be the most obvious.
As a reminder, those who pick up 'Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection' will receive access to the 'Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End' multiplayer beta. Beta access has been described as exclusive to this offer. (Order here.)
