'Shadow Complex Remastered' Coming to PS4 & Steam This May

ChAIR & Epic's 360 gem returns.

Back in 2009, the Unreal 3 powered 'Shadow Complex' was a big XBLA hit. And now, come May 3rd, Epic and Chair Entertainment's 'Shadow Complex Remastered' will be released on PS4 and Steam. This will be the first time the game has appeared on a PlayStation platform in any form.

'Shadow Complex Remastered' features the original game but with:

- Up-rezzed characters, enemies, environments, and interface
- Updated lighting, post-processing, and visual effects
- New contextual melee take-downs
- New Achievements and Master Challenges

The game is very 2.5D, but the shooting mechanics do work very well within the metroidvania template. I personally recommend avoiding the highest difficulty in spite of the promised XP bonus.
