A test of Kravitzing.
For 'Guitar Hero Live,' Activision enlisted the talents of James Franco and Lenny Kravitz for an ad showing the two performers competing. That ad is pretty funny on several levels (see it further down this page), and in true music fashion, the documenting of the performance, the behind the scenes, offers even more insight.
As a bonus, the behind the scenes also offers some nice snippets of the Live portion of the game, complete with killer note charts, angry fans, and snazzy band mates.
Of course, the behind the scenes is also an ad, but it's pretty on the level. Lenny Kravitz admission that he's been bad at 'Guitar Hero' is interesting while, Franco passes along some info brother Franco's one-time 'Guitar Hero' ambition.
I have played quite a bit of the 'Guitar Hero Live' (see here), and I can confirm that seeing the crowd and band mates turn on the player is indeed entertaining.
'Guitar Hero Live' is set to be released later this month (October 20th in NA, October 23rd in Europe) for the PS4, Xbox One, PS3, 360, Wii U and select mobile devices. The console versions are up for preorder for $99.99.
