'ARK: Survival Evolved' Gets Bigger Than Tyrannosaurus with Giganotosaurus, Plus Swords & Shields

ARK: Survival Evolved news

Go big (and slow) or go home.

Once more, Studio Wildcard is shaking things up in 'ARK: Survival Evolved.' Not only is there a massive killing machine joining the ecosystem in the form of Giganotosaurus, but there is also a new echelon of weaponry available to players.

With Giganotosaurus, it's all about a new challenge. Tough, slow, and very dangerous, attempting to tame this beast is like to put players in a hurt locker. This is truly a target for advanced players and tribes.

That makes the guy quite the ride-able trophy.

Another important change is the addition of swords and shields to the game. This should let players get closer in a deadly and enjoyably brutal way.

'ARK: Survival Evolved' is in Early Access on PC and is coming to both the Xbox One and PS4 next year.
