Changes due for the series.
With 'Assassin's Creed Syndicate,' Ubisoft obviously wants players to become immersed in the dark world of London during the industrial revolution. At the same time, however, 'AC Syndicate' will have the challenge of balancing two leads in Jacob & Evie, with which comes the challenge of making them distinct enough to be memorable.
The 'Batman Arkham' games, for example, often fall into a Batman clone trap, and yet, playing without Batman's abilities (as the Catwoman or the Joker) gets old quick. Meanwhile, in a game like 'Grand Theft Auto V,' the three leads had identical abilities but very distinct characters. 'GTA V' also required using multiple characters in the same mission, switching back and for.
Hopefully, Jacob & Evie can prove to be as compelling.
