Hopefully, it's a celebration.
Sega has announced a 25th anniversary look at Sonic The Hedgehog is coming via SXSW 2016. A five person panel plus a moderator will be held on March 19th from 3:30pm - 4:15pm CT on the SXSW Geek Stage at the Austin Convention Center (Ballroom C).
The panel will include Takashi Iizuka – Head of Sonic Team, Yuji Naka – Sonic Original Creator, Austin Keys – Director, Product Development, Roger Craig Smith – Voice of Sonic The Hedgehog, and Mike Pollock – Voice of Dr. Eggman. Specifically, what is being promised is a "look at the history of the world’s fastest mascot with the original creators, developers and voice actors who will offer their insights and anecdotes about the generation-spanning character."
The panel will be moderated by the voice of the @Sonic_Hedgehog Twitter account, Aaron Webber, Sonic Social Media Manager.
This is the same person who tweeted this out to mark the occasion of SXSW 2016:
We’re going to @sxsw! Join us for one of the only reasons to ever visit Texas. https://t.co/9SskljWGB1 pic.twitter.com/9UAxLMEQE2
