The fighting game will look considerably better.
To celebrate the holiday season, 'The King of Fighters XIV' has added a new DLC costume for free. The new costume (which can be seen in the trailer below) is for Athena Asamiya, and is based off her look in the 1998 installment in the series. This DLC is free until January 22nd, when it'll become a paid download.
SNK Playmore's fighting game will also receive a major update on January 11th that improves the game's visuals. "With this update, aspects such as the shaders and lighting have been upgraded to improve the overall visuals" said producer Yasuyuki Oda on the PlayStation Blog. He also revealed that a demo showing off the update will release beforehand, so players can check it out before it officially launches.
'The King of Fighters XIV' released exclusively on PlayStation 4 earlier this year.
