Race online, coast-to-coast.
It's been quite a journey for 'The Crew,' Ubisoft's ambitious next-gen only racer. Updates on the title were pretty mum between last year and this year's E3, but then the game made a big splash at this year's show. There's something about the freedom to take on the US coast-to-coast. 'The Crew' is being developed by longtime driving game veterans ('Test Drive,' 'Driver') and seems to be at the forefront of the new mixture of racing and online communities. The Xbox One and PS4 'The Crew' communities are expected to swell with an aim for the biggest online racing presence to date.
For those wishing to get in on that promise early, there is an upcoming beta. Now is the time to sign up (go here). Those interested will need to have a uPlay account.
This beta is specifically for the PC, and players will need a decent gaming PC to play it come July 23rd.
