Closed beta begins November 10th.
Ubisoft closed their E3 press conference this year by showing off 'Steep,' a new extreme sports IP from the French publisher, and now eager players will get to go hands-on with the game. The game's beta (which is available on PS4, Xbox One and PC) will take place in two phases this November, with a closed beta taking place from November 10th to the 14th. A few days later on November 18th, the Ubisoft Annecy developed title will be playable by all until November 21st.
Those that want to participate in the first beta (spanning from the 10th to the 14th) can sign-up at the game's official website. Ubisoft says the betas will include three of the game's seven regions (the Aravis, the Tyrol and the Needles), and nine "Mountain Stories." Those stories are "narrative-based contests that will delve deeper into unique moments" that will unlock gear for players.
'Steep' releases on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on December 2nd.
