'Battlefield 1' Gets an Open Beta on PS4, Xbox One, & PC This Month, Features Conquest & Rush

As the summer goes by, it's getting harder to ignore just how interesting 'Battlefield 1's World War I setting looks. With T.E. Lawrence's exploits in sight, the latest Gamescom 2016 flavored peek continues to draw out those fascinating Great War aspects. Equally exciting for anxious players is the announcement today of August 31st as the beta date for 'Battlefield 1' on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC.

The open beta will feature both Conquest and Rush modes using the the Sinai Desert map. That means 32 v32 combat with notables like the armored train, horses, and three new Elite classes, Sentry, Flame Trooper, and Tank Hunter.
