'Rocket League's steady stream of new content isn't slowing down just because the year is ending. Developer Psyonix announced today at The Game Awards that its next update, the space-themed 'Starbase ARC,' will arrive December 7th. The update will bring the tituluar map into the fray, which is an homage to Psonix's mobile game 'ARC Squadron,' and a futuristic looking Battle-Car called the Vulcan. The DLC will cost $1.99 (although the map will be free).
Also arriving with the update is a new game mode that will allow players to hone their skills. Called 'Custom Training,' the mode will allow players to create training sequences so they can practice different types of shots (such as aerials). This mode will be free of charge. Finally, the PC version of the game will now feature Steam Workshop support, so dedicated players can create custom levels for the sports title.
