Square Enix has released a new trailer detailing how 'Rise of the Tomb Raider' (review here) will be enhanced on the PS4 Pro. The four minute video is narrated by Gary Snethen, who is Crystal Dynamics' Chief Technology Officer. 'Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration' will receive a free update to become PS4 Pro compatible and will be one of the console's launch titles.
Snethen goes deeper into the individual improvements that players can expect thanks to the extra power of the PS4 Pro. He also details the game's three exclusive visual modes: 4K Resolution. High Frame Rate and Enriched Visuals. Other improvements, that you can see in the video below, include anisotropic filtering, additional dynamic foliage, and hardware tessellation.
'Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration' released October 11th on PlayStation 4.The game will be compatible with the PlayStation 4 Pro when the new system launches November 10th.
