Free DLC looks sizable.
'Assassin's Creed: Unity' released last year, and there were some issues (check out the review here). Even so, this new console only game has still managed to be a huge success, with millions of players diving deep into the new engine. After the launch troubles, (some of which have been addressed), Ubisoft made the decision to include free DLC for all players. 'Dead Kings' is a single player episode (which does include co-op) featuring hours of new content a la last year's 'Freedom Cry.'
Regardless of 'Unity's issues, this free content is intriguing, as it revolves around multiple French icons, including Napoleon and the Marquis De Sade. With the free content dropping today, it's almost worth wondering, wouldn't it be nice if other AAA titles received sizable post release content additions as part of purchase price?
