The standalone prequel for 'Wolfenstein: The Old Blood.'
Bethesda and MachineGames scored big with the 'Wolfenstein: The New Order' (check out the review here), and now the hit shooter is getting an interesting follow-up. Today, Bethesda revealed 'Wolfenstein: The Old Blood.' The game is a downloadable, standalone prequel to 'The New Order,' and it's coming to the PS4, Xbox One, and PC on May 5th with a price of $19.99.
'The Old Blood' sees BJ Blazkowicz take on a two part mission. First comes the infiltration of Castle Wolfenstein in 'Rudi Jäger and the Den of Wolves,' and next comes 'The Dark Secrets of Helga Von Schabbs' in the city of Wulfburg.
Naturally, this standalone game looks perfect for those who want more of 'The New Order' and likewise, those who missed 'The New Order' might find 'The Old Blood' a nice gateway. Even better, the hope with 'The Old Blood' is that the team has a greater degree of freedom to impress players.
