"So that the stars may see us."

Petroglyph Studios' 'Grey Goo' is one week from launch, and that means that it's time to consider the game's story. This is a RTS that has a story, which features three distinct factions, (Betas, Humans, and the Goo) and all of that will unfold over the course of a campaign, complete with cinematics.

So when you see what's unfolding in this launch trailer when the Betas encounter the Goo, or when the humans seem victorious only for the Goo the swell in counterattack, you know that there is more there. And where there are notes of story that outline the different factions, players will find out even more as they attempt to guide their side to victory. Whether it's the balanced Betas, the grid bound Humans, or the baseless Goo, players will need to turn those story notes towards their advantage.

'Grey Goo' is due out on January 23rd on Steam and will be featured that weekend at PAX South alongside Yager's 'Dreadnought.'
