Looking forward to a slew of new products.
Monster has long been involved in home theater and audio solutions and products, and just about everything surrounding thereof. Meanwhile, Johnathan 'Fatal1ty' Wendel has been a pioneer in recognizing the need for specialized PC gaming products. Now the two entities are partnering up, with the bottom line being that Monster is entering the world of gaming.
You see gaming is big business, and gaming headsets alone are a segment that many companies are playing a bit of catch-up in. For Monster, having Fatal1ty on-board should mean a shortcut to having a comfortable, durable, and high-performing headset, among other possible products. In essence, this partnership could be the second coming of Beats, with Monster's engineering being directed towards products meant to serve the needs of gamers.
From Johnathan 'Fatal1ty' Wendel, "I wanted to partner with Noel Lee, the Head Monster and founder of Monster because of his leadership in innovation and product expertise and the fact that he designs the best headphones in the world. I'm always on the lookout for innovations that will give me that extra competitive edge, and by teaming with Monster, Noel brings his vast expertise and engineering resources to gaming, creating products purpose built to help deliver gamers the competitive advantage."
"Noel has created countless innovations in consumer electronics and knows what it takes to win and how to bring winning products to market. Of importance to me is that Noel is also on the same page when it comes to supporting gaming events and the gaming communities that make all this possible."
The very first Fatal1ty by Monster products are expected later this year, just in time for the holiday season.
