PC preorders get an extra $200,000.

Rockstar Games has announced that heists will finally be coming to 'GTA Online' March 10th. This is for all released versions of 'GTA V,' and online heists mean a 4-player cooperative for 'GTA Online.' That's something Rockstar promised way back in 2013 before the original PS3/360 release, and something that players have yet to experience. These multi-part raids and robberies will require teamwork and planning (and player levels) beyond anything currently required in the game.

GTA V Online Heists

For better or for worse, the long-awaited PC version of 'Grand Theft Auto V' continues to elude users. Today, Rockstar announced a new release date of April 14th. The reason cited for the new delay is the same as the last delay, the need for polish. Few would argue that the game ought to be polished prior to release, but it's understandable that some fans have been waiting to play the 2013 game for a long time and may be a bit impatient. As a "gesture of thanks," Rockstar is giving those who have preordered the PC version an additional $200,000 to use in 'GTA Online.'

The PC version will support 30 players online and will launch with the long promised online heists. Speaking of online heists, Rockstar has stated that online heists will be "launching in the coming weeks ahead of the PC launch."

The PC version will include the Rockstar Editor, which offers a full suite of capture and editing tools for making zany YouTube videos from 'GTA V.'
