And there is a trailer.
As explained last month, 'Rock Band Rivals,' an expansion for 'Rock Band 4' will not include any songs. Instead, it will feature two very different gameplay modes. The Rivals mode will have players forming Crews and playing through asynchronous online weekly challenges and leaderboards. The other mode is a playable Rockudrama, which is showcased in the below trailer.
Included with the Rockudrama will be new venues, Rock Shop items, and gameplay challenges.
'Rock Band Rivals' is priced at $29.99. It will also be featured along with 'RB4' in a $89.99 bundle with the new foldable Wireless Fender Jaguar as well as in a 'RB4,' Wireless Fender Jaguar, drum kit, and wired mic bundle for $199.99.
So while the expansion does not include any music, there is a preorder song offer. Preorder 'Rock Band Rivals' in any form will net the buyer 10 bonus preorder DLC tracks.
Here are the 10 preorder tracks:
Bring Me The Horizon –“Happy Song”
Capital Cities –“Safe and Sound”
Eagle-Eye Cherry –“Save Tonight”
Pharrell Williams –“Happy“
The Neighbourhood –“Sweater Weather”
Of Monsters And Men –“Little Talks”
Semisonic –“Closing Time”
Sia –“Chandelier”
Skillet –“Feel Invincible”
Weezer –“King of the World”
'Rock Band Rivals' is due out in October.
