Out four days early for those who pre-ordered.
'NBA 2K17' will make its way into the hands of players today, as the game's 'Early Tip-Off' edition is now available. This version of the game, which was available for anyone who pre-ordered, arrived four days earlier than the planned September 20th launch. It's also available now digitally on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, so even those who didn't pre-order can gain "early" access to the basketball simulator.
"We couldn’t be more excited to celebrate the launch of 'NBA 2K17' as the franchise continues to set the standard for sports simulation authenticity," said 'NBA 2K's VP of Marketing Alfie Brody. "We consistently challenge ourselves to bring our fans new, compelling ways to connect with our brand and, more importantly, each other through an unparalleled digital experience that will be found in this year’s title."
Players can celebrate the launch (or #2KDay if you want to be on-brand) by watching the new trailer.
While 'NBA 2K17' officially launches September 20th, the 'Early Tip-Off' version is out today for anyone who pre-ordered.
