'Lucky's Tale' to Be Bundled with Every Oculus Rift

Flagship Oculus title to be bundled for free.

Today, Oculus has announced that that the VR-exclusive platformer 'Lucky's Tale' will be included free with every Oculus Rift when the game releases in Q1 2016.

This is officially the second game that will be bundled with the Oculus Rift, the first being 'EVE: Valkyrie', which is bundled with all pre-orders of the Rift, however, 'Lucky's Tale' is free even withought pre-ordering. The game comes from Playful, a studio founded in 2012 that works primarily with VR games that has since signed a partnership to work exclusively with Oculus.

The game is a fairly traditional 3D platformer, but with players directly controlling the camera using the Oculus Rift. It's nice to see a VR game that isn't first person, and this actually looks rather lovely right now. The game has been receiving plenty of positive buzz, so bundling it with the Rift seems like a smart move.
