Play the 2007 release on Xbox One.
One of the complaints about the Xbox One's game library has been a lack of Japanese role-playing games, but now owners of Microsoft's latest console can enjoy an old one again. That's because the Mistwalker developed 'Lost Odyssey' is now backward compatible. The only caveat is that only physical discs will work, as the game was never sold digitally.
The Xbox 360 turn-based role-playing game originally released in 2007, and was so large that it shipped on four dual-layer DVDs. It received positive reviews upon release, and is regarded as one of the Xbox 360's strongest Japanese-developed exclusives.

Other Xbox One backward compatibility additions today include 'Toy Story 3' and 'Guwange.'
'Lost Odyssey' is available now on Xbox 360, and is playable on Xbox One.
