Slow PR bluild-up no match for the stunning remaster.
The 'Homeworld Remastered Collection' drops tomorrow, and we've got a review here for those so inclined. The game is available to pre-load now, but buyers can still snag the preorder the discount. Speaking of preorders. Randy Pitchford has gone ahead and let everyone know that in spite of the short window between the collection's reveal and the release date, the number of preorders has surpassed 100K. That's pretty impressive for an RTS remaster, even if it does have the cult audience of 'Homeworld' keeping the flame.
While fans of 'Homeworld' and 'Homeworld 2' are likely the lion's share of preorders, it's time for a little more mainstream marketing. Thus, we have an Awolnation launch trailer:
The 'Homeworld Remastered Collection' is priced at $34.99, but those who purchase today will get a 15% off discount. (On Steam and on Amazon.)
