Local 4 player co-op part of the massive content package.
New-gen re-releases appear to be as popular now as they ever have been before, but this week one of gaming's mammoth franchises is making the jump. Formerly a 360, PS3, and PC title (check out the review here), 'Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel' and 'Borderlands 2' are coming to the PS4 and Xbox One along with both games huge mounds of released DLC.
With 'Borderlands: The Handsome Collection,' 2K Games and Gearbox and looking to rope in the biggest increase in the 'Borderlands' player base since the initial release of 'Borderlands 2.' While the series' endless amount of guns, and signature art style, and overload of personality will see players through hour after hour of loot-collecting and Pandora faring, one big feature that is being highlighted is the four player co-op split screen.
Observe:
Both 'Borderlands 2' and 'Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel' will allow players to bring saves over from the original versions. (Saves must stay within same console family, Xbox 360 to Xbox One and PS3/Vita to PS4.)
