"Equipment Engineering" now in sight as a stretch goal.
Games has one very ambitious project on their hands, and it seems that via the Fig platform, some 2,300 backers agree that 'Consortium: The Tower' is worth backing. That's with good reason as having Bioware founder, Dr. Greg Zeschuk on hand along with a killer pitch should be enough to get people interested.
Of course, it helps when the fundraising goals are kept to six digits. Either way, the game's promise to deliver a free reign experience in the mold of 'Deus Ex' where the player always has control (no camera cuts) and is never out of options (shy of death) is a pervasive one.
'Consortium: The Tower' is promised as both a PC/Mac/Linux title as well as a PS4 and Xbox One game.
It's interesting to note that the majority of the pledged money is going towards the investment option rather than the reward backer option. With more than 28 days left to raise further funds, the project appears to be off to a great start. (See the campaign here.)
