'Dragon Quest Heroes II' Coming to North America and Europe

Arriving in April.

Square Enix went on Twitter today to surprise 'Dragon Quest' fans with an announcement. The Japanese publisher revealed that 'Dragon Quest Heroes II,' the sequel to 'Dragon Quest Heroes: The World Tree's Woe and the Blight Below,' will be coming to North America and Europe in 2017. North American fans will get the game on April 25th, while European gamers will have to wait three extra days as it releases April 28th there.

'Dragon Quest Heroes II' originally released earlier this year in Japan, and builds upon the gameplay of the original. It's still very much a hack-and-slash title in the vein of Koei Tecmo's 'Dynasty Warriors' series, and is developed by Omega Force. It's worth noting that the announcement today only confirmed that the PlayStation 4 version of the game is coming over, despite the game also releasing on Vita and PS3 in Japan.
