Disruptor Beam is also working on a mobile 'The Walking Dead' game.
Disruptor Beam's popular mobile game 'Star Trek Timelines' can now be played on a computer monitor. The role-playing title, which features characters from every era of 'Star Trek' and allows players to create a dream team of crew members, can now be played in a browser on Facebook Games. Alternatively, users can access the free-to-play title by downloading the Facebook Gamesroom app.
Mobile players will be able to use their existing account to carry over their progress. Disruptor Beam explained how to do this on their website's official FAQ:
You will need to first play 'Star Trek Timelines' on your mobile device and reach level four to authorize the Facebook app, but after that you will be able to seamlessly shift between the mobile and desktop versions of the game. Instructions on linking accounts are available on Facebook Games. Your currency, crew, progress, and everything else will be with you no matter where you log on.
This news comes after Disruptor Beam revealed that they are working on a 'The Walking Dead' adaptation in October. Called 'March to War,' the Android and iOS titles has players building alliances in order to survive the apocalypse. The "story-based multiplayer strategy game" is currently on track to come out in 2017.
'Star Trek Timelines' released in January of this year on iOS and Android. It's now available on PC as well.
