Storm Grey looking good.
The Xbox One S is the only console on the market (or coming in 2016) that plays Ultra HD Blu-rays (see media playback impressions here). It's also set to offer HDR for gaming, and is small, tidy, and stylish, (see the review here). One issue that I've heard, though, is that the system's white casing doesn't blend in wqell with other typically dark AV components. The only other color announced before today is the red 'Gears of War 4' bloody paint job.
But today, Microsoft has unveiled not one, but two new system colors. Both the Storm Grey and "military green" colored Xbox One S consoles as announced will be featured in 'Battlefield 1' game bundles.
Offered in the USA, the Storm Grey Special Edition Xbox One S is being offered in 500GB and with a digital version of 'Battlefield 1' (the Standard Edition) and one month of EA Access for $299. This bundle is exclusive to the Microsoft Store (see here) and to Wal-Mart and is set for a November 1st date.
Offered in the USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and Europe, the Xbox One S Battlefiled Special Edition Bundle (1TB) pairs a 1TB "military green" with a digital version of 'Battlefield 1' (the Early Enlister Deluxe Edition with the Hellfighter Pack, Red Baron Pack, Lawrence of Arabia Pack, a new visual appearance of the Behemoths, and five Battlepacks) and one month of EA Access for $349. This bundle is due out on October 18th in the USA, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand, but will be out in Europe earlier on October 13th. (The GameStop version includes a physical copy of the game.) This bundle also includes a Xbox One S vertical stand.
There is a vanilla Xbox One S 'Battlefield 1' bundle as well. For $299, the Xbox One S Battlefield 1 Bundle pairs a 500GB white Xbox One S with a digital version of 'Battlefield 1' (the Standard version) and one month of EA Access. (The GameStop version includes a physical copy of the game.)
