Console players have to pay.
The fifth downloadable team for 'Blood Bowl 2' has been released on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, but unlike the PC version it isn't free. The latest team to be added is Necromantic, which is comprised of flesh golems, zombies, the aforementioned werewolves, wights, and ghouls. All of these creatures will take to the football field to battle it out in the turn-based 'Warhammer' spin-off.
The Necromantic DLC will set back console players $6.99, despite being free on PC. It was free on PC due to Cyanide Studios' "founders incentive," which was an attempt to please a fanbase that felt the game launched without enough content, but has only served to now anger the console fanbase. The next team that is planned to be added will be the Nurgle squad.
'Blood Bowl 2' is available now on PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4.
