'Halo 5' Devs Preview New Big Team Battle Maps From Next Content Drop

All inspired by older stages.

The next content drop for 'Halo 5: Guardians' is coming next week, developer 343 Industries wrote in a recent blog post. One new feature will be the inclusion of the 8-on-8 Big Team Battle mode in Arena matchmaking, and to mark the new addition, the blog post showed off some preview screenshots of four BTB Arena maps that will drop in the same update.

The four maps were made with the help of community mapmakers, and each was inspired by a map from a previous game. You can check out the screenshots below:

Deadlock (based on Standoff from 'Halo 3')

Guillotine (based on Headlong from 'Halo 2')

Recurve (based on Longbow from 'Halo 4')

Basin (based on Valhalla from 'Halo 3')

The content drop will also feature new REQ content.
