Time to suit up.
While 'Super Smash Bros.' awaits release like a sleeping giant, 'Mario Kart 8' is likely the strongest ongoing offering for the Wii U, (check out the review here) Fortunately, there will be some crossover between games, and that is on account of the Nintendo amiibo figures. The figures have started popping in stores, but Nintendo has finally given some hints with regard to their immediate functionality in the hit 'Mario Kart 8.'
It seems that come November 13th, (likely the same day as the first DLC pack release) 'Mario Kart 8' will support amiibos. Oddly enough, this support will include Mii racing suits, and players ought to be able to co-opt their amiibo's costume for use with Miis in 'Mario Kart 8.'
