First up, 'Super Smash Bros.' updates will continue. Update Ver 1.0.6 coming to 'Super Smash Bros.' for the Wii U. Those eligible will receive their MewTwo DLC download codes on April 15th.
'Mother 3's Lucas is coming to 'Super Smash Bros.' as DLC in June. And he won't be alone. Starting today, on Smashbros.com, (request here) fans can request future fighters for 'Super Smash Bros.' for the Wii U and 3DS.
More amiibo are coming and some will be exclusive to certain retailers. amiibo for both Lucas and MewTwo will be coming. All amiibo can be used in 'Super Smash Bros.' Nintendo will also release a special free app called 'amiibo TAP Nintendo's Greatest Bits' on the Wii U which will randomly let players play parts of Nintendo classics when they scan in their amiibos.
'Super Mario Bros.' came to the NES 30 years ago, and 'Mario Maker' on the Wii U is the best way to celebrate. 'Mario Maker' is coming this fall. "that way, anyone can create levels." There will be 8-bit, 16-bit, and 'NSMB' level pallets. There will also be other 30th Anniversary promotions.
'Yoshi's Woolly World' coming to the Wii U this summer. The game will have a traditionally tough Classic Mode and an easy Mellow Mode.
There will be yarn made amiibos. A yarn yoshi amiibo will enable double yoshi play in 'Yoshi's Woolly Wolrd.' There will green, pink, and light blue yarn amiibo yoshis.
'Splatoon' will have single player and multiplayer. Modes like Battle Dojo will use the GamePad screen for dual screen multiplayer. There will be inkling amiibos launched alongside the game. These amiibos will unlock special missions and gear in the game. Inkling boy, Inkling girl, and inkling squid will all be amiibos, and will be offered in one pack. Inling girl and inkling boy will be available on their own.
Nintendo DS and N64 games are coming to the virtual console. These games will have a variety of controller options.
'Yoshi's Island DS' and 'Super Mario 64' are available today.
The awesome 'Adventures of Pip' is coming to the Wii U in May.
'Octodad: Dadliest Catch' is coming to the Wii U this summer.
'Mutant Mudds Super Challenge' is coming to the Wii U and 3DS as a cross play title. There's even a loyalty discount.
'Don't Starve: Giant Edition' is coming to the Wii U in May. It will use the GamePad screen (for inventory), and it will launch with a promotion that gives each buyer a digital copy to pass along to a friend.
Atlus is working on the Shin Megami Tensei x Fire Emblem crossover game.
The new 'Fatal Frame' will be released in the West later this year. The new game uses the GamePad as an in-game camera.
'BoxBoy' is coming to the 3DS.
'Pokemon Rumble World' will be available to play on the 3DS for free on April 8th.
'Puzzles & Dragons Super Mario Bros Edition' is coming to the 3DS on May 2nd packed together with a non Mario 'Puzzles & Dragons Z.' Both games have unique adventures.
There will be a free demo on April 30th of 'Puzzles & Dragons Super Mario Bros Edition.'
Atlus is bringing 'Attack on Titan: Humanity in Chains' to the 3DS in May. It will have C-stick support on the New 3DS.
More Marth amiibo are coming in May. (it's a second printing og the original Marth amiibo.) An update is coming to 'Code Name S.T.E.A.M.' that will allow players to fast forward through enemy turns.
Two new Streetpass games, 'Ultimate Angler' and 'Battleground Z' are coming to the 3DS Mii Plaza. There will also be a premium version of StreetPass Mii Plaza.
Fans of 'Fire Emblem' and 'Bravely Default' need to check out the New 3DS exclusive 'Xenoblade Chronicles 3D,' which supports listening to the soundtrack while the New 3DS is closed. (Releases April 10th.)
The new 'Fire Emblem' will be focused completely on the custom player-made character, but will allow for a path on either side of the game's two kingdom conflict. The new game is due in 2016.
A card based 3DS game based on 'Animal Crossing' will introduce new cards that are basically like amiibos, but cards. 'Animal Crossing Happy Home Designer' is due this fall and will be released alongside the IR NFC reader, needed for using the cards and amiibo with the old 3DS systems.
A new 'Animal Crossing' track for 'Mario Kart 8' is coming as part of DLC pack 2. The track will feature changing seasons. There will be 8 courses, 4 Vehicles, and 3 racers in DLC pack 2, which is coming April 23rd for $7.99.
Using new amiibos will add new costumes to 'Mario Kart 8.'
Nintendo is adding a 200cc class to 'Mario Kart 8.' 200cc will be part of the free update on April 23rd.
