Ubisoft sets expectations for players on the beta's waitlist.
The beta for 'Tom Clancy's The Division' has officially opened up to everybody (Xbox players were able to slip in yesterday), and while anybody with an official code should be off to the races, anybody who was hoping to get some time in with the game by signing up for the waitlist is in for a rough weekend.
Apparently, demand to get into the beta is so high, Ubisoft's not even bothering with the waitlist today, stating in a forum post that anybody who didnt already get their beta code is gonna be left waiting until tomorrow at the earliest. Of course, the easiest way to guarantee a spot to the party is just to pre-order the game, but still. Remember 'Destiny's beta, and how, even while being one of the most played beta experiences in console history, the invites basically flowed like water? This is a bigger deal than THAT. And that's bananas.
The beta will be running until Sunday, January 31st. Best of luck, waitlisted folks.
