Ubisoft breaks out some franchise numbers.
Ever since the first two installments, Ubisoft has been relentless in producing and releasing 'Assassin's Creed' titles. Already this year, 'Assassin's Creed Unity' has been announced for the latest platforms, while another 'Assassin's Creed' title seems bound for last-gen consoles. Ubisoft has been so effective at releasing and promoting new installments that lesser efforts are pretty easy to overlook. The sum total of all of this constant effort is some 73 million 'Assassin's Creed' titles sold across platforms, which, while impressive, is even more so when compared with the company's other franchises.
Whether it's 'Just Dance,' 'Far Cry,' 'Rayman,' or 'Petz,' they all are junior in sales to the 'Assassin's Creed' series.
