A 19 party rampage.
Pinokl Games' 'Party Hard' has done wonders on Steam and on Twitch. Later this year, PS4 and Xbox One players will get to try their hands at dispatching whole party scenes, one "accident" at a time.
In 'Party Hard,' the player directs the murderer around each room of the party (in a top down, pixel art view). The only controls involved are stabbing, setting traps, dragging bodies, and of course dancing, which is useful for blending in.
The Twitch aspect of the game, when enabled, lets viewers control certain events at the party, like say when the SWAT team shows up.
From publisher tinyBuild, here are the main features of 'Party Hard:'
Party Hard has semi-procedural environments and a big, silly focus on unique ways of killing people. In the greatest traditions of sneaking games, your main goal is to not get caught, while silently picking off unsuspecting victims one by one. Dancing and blending in during a suspicious situation is key.
A (completely not) serious story that follows a series of murders throughout the US
19 unique levels with random variations on each one
Use traps, cause explosions, become a ninja
Multiple unlockable characters
Special random events, like a bear coming in and killing everyone for you
Trigger the DEA, SWAT cars, paramedics, firefighters to come in and ruin the party
One other note about the console versions, which are due out thsi spring; the free After-Party DLC will be included for both console versions.
