Coming later this year.
Trendy Entertainment and Re-Logic have teamed up for a crossover of their popular games. Both 'Terraria' and 'Dungeon Defenders II' will be receiving new content from the other game. In 'Terraria' players will face an invasion from the world of Etheria. Meanwhile, 'Dungeon Defenders II' will have players getting help from an ancient hero to battle enemies from 'Terraria.' Content updates will introduce both of these crossover events later this year.
"We’re huge fans of the tower defense genre, and our whole team has enjoyed the Dungeon Defenders series for a long time," said Re-Logic CEO Andrew Spinks. "So we jumped at the chance to bring our two worlds together. Getting to work with another awesome indie developer, sharing the fun, unique things you’ve both created, is an opportunity that doesn’t come around every day."
The 'Terraria' update will arrive with the version 1.3.4 update, while the 'Dungeon Defenders II' content will be able to be unlocked "in a variety of ways." More details are expected closer to release.
