Terror and hubris in the house of Gabe Newell!
Now's the only legitimate time to be 24-hours-a-day obsessed with horror and mayhem, and not be instantly added to an FBI watchlist with your name surrounded by a ton of asterisks, so Steam's timing is impeccable, offering a slew of horror titles for super cheap over the Halloween weekend.
A lot of usual suspects make the cut this time, with the 'Metro' games, 'Resident Evil 4' and '5', and Telltale's 'Walking Dead' games for $7. Required plays like 'Amnesia: The Dark Descent', the 'Dead Space' games, and 'Outlast' are $5 each. It's the hidden gems that should grab your attention this time, though, with the classic 'Sanitarium' , the 'S.T.A.L.K.E.R.' games, and the gloriously unsettling 'Oxenfree' selling for $5 each.
Head on over to Steam to load up. Sale runs out on November 1st.
