At last, DICE will reveal themselves to the Jedi
So far, the only glimpses players have gotten of the long-in-development new Battlefront being developed by DICE have been an all-too-short teaser trailer shown at E3 2013, and an equally skimpy behind-the-scenes trailer at E3 the year after. In an announcement today, EA revealed that the game's ready for the prime time, and it will have its official debut during Star Wars Celebration, April 16-19th.
"We could not think of a better or more appropriate place to debut the game officially for the first time than the premier event that celebrates the Star Wars universe and the legions of fans who have fallen in love with it."
In a separate announcement on Twitter, EA also confirmed the game will be released on PS4, Xbox One, and PC only.
The game itself is due to arrive this holiday, just ahead of Episode VII's theatrical release.
