All the cool kids will be there.
Sony will be kicking off its second annual PlayStation Experience in San Francisco the weekend of December 5, and it has released an abbreviated list of the kinds of games and developers that will be on the show floor come December.
In terms of developer attendance, all of the major publishing players seem to accounted for among the list of companies with dedicated booth spaces. Developers under the Sony banner, like Media Molecule and 'Uncharted' developer Naughty Dog, will, of course, be there as well.
Sony also revealed a collection of almost 50 games that will be playable at the convention. The list isn't complete, and there are some pretty conspicuous games missing that will almost certainly be prominently featured, but there are some notable entries nonetheless. Campo Santo's 'Firewatch,' the first-person, narrative-driven adventure set in the Wyoming wild, is set to be playable, as is 'Kerbal Space Program,' hopefully meaning that the announced console verison of the space travel sim is decently far into development.
Also on the party list is 'GNOG,' which has been confirmed for Sony's upcoming PlayStation VR (formerly Project Morpheus). The list doesn't mention, however, if PS Experience attendees will be able to play 'GNOG' with the full VR experience.
You can find the full list of announced playable games below. PlayStation Experience will run December 5–6 in San Francisco. If you can't make it to the actual event, Sony will likely be streaming as much content as they can for the rest of the world.
