Difficult to deny success.
'Final Fantasy Type-0 HD' is out. I think it's pretty great (review here), but even I know that the big sales draw was unquestionably the included 'Episode Duscae' demo from 'Final Fantasy XV' (which is reviewed here). Today, Square Enix announced that 'Final Fantasy Type-0 HD' has shipped 1 million copies. That's shipped and not sold, but still, an impressive number for what was originally a PSP title.
In addition to the joy over the game's numbers, Square Enix would also like to remind players that they are listening closely to feedback from the 'Final Fantasy XV' demo.
There will be "a player feedback special of (the Final Fantasy XV) Active Time Report with Director Hajime Tabata. The broadcast will take place at 11:00 p.m. (PDT) on April 27th, with Tabata discussing some of the feedback and opinions submitted by players, as well as detailing some of the ways the development team plans to address them. Fans are invited to visit the FINAL FANTASY TYPE-0 HD Facebook Page for more details, at: https://www.facebook.com/finalfantasytype0. The FINAL FANTASY XV ‑EPISODE DUSCAE‑ player feedback survey is still open for all players to provide feedback on their experiences, and will close on May 19th, 2015. In order to provide feedback via the survey, players will need to input the FINAL FANTASY XV ‑EPISODE DUSCAE‑ demo voucher code that accompanies FINAL FANTASY TYPE-0 HD. To participate, visit: https://www.finalfantasyxv.com/poll/."
