See River Become Dogmeat for 'Fallout 4'

Dogmeat will be there for the duration.

Back at QuakeCon 2015, Bethesda showed off a ton of footage from 'Fallout 4,' and one of the gems was a focus on the in-game companion Dogmeat. Dogmeat is a German Shepherd based on 'Fallout 4's lead level designer Joel Burgess' own River. In the footage now made public, River's adventures serve as pure reference for Dogmeat.

'Fallout 3' fans will be happy to know that Dogmeat cannot die in 'Fallout 4,' so there will be no worries there. Dogmeat is one of around a dozen companions in the new game.
